Since the 50's Turin has been a very "jazzy"
city, and "arti e mestieri", in
the 70's, have been the right link between
this old school, progressive and jazz rock.
In a certain way, the beauty of an ancient
city, its inner tensions, the contradictions
between different cultures , between tradition
and future , appear in some ways within
